  6. WOW! Look at all of the accolades! So deserved. Because I think you are all kinds of awesome, I’ve nominated you for a Versatile Blogger Award. I see someone else had the same idea! I know you are a busy blogger, so don’t feel overly obligated to play. Just know that it comes with a badge for your blog and a box of organic dark chocolate. From me. With love. Here are the ‘deets’ as they say: http://mommyverbs.wordpress.com/2013/04/28/versatile-blogging-award/

  10. Just read your article on motherlode about balancing the emotional load of an unhappy aging parent and a young family. Thank you so much I went through hell last week packing and moving my mother. There were a lot of very critical comments on the article but many also totally got it. I look forward to reading more on your blog. It really helps to know we are not alone.

    • Thank you so much. I don’t write that much about it on the blog, only occasionally, but I’ve been writing more about it recently. I used to keep it all inside but once I started writing about it, I really just felt better. It’s a wonderful catharsis for me. And I don’t worry about what other people think, especially those who judge so harshly on a small snapshot. I know I do the best I can. It’s not easy. If you life it, you know it. Thanks for making me feel not as alone as well.
